Well, this kind of post is back. Everyone knows that josei manga is always lacking in our manga-verse(lol). So it's really a job, to search for ones that have an interesting plot and are decent haha. So your senpai🙋 here, has saved you the trouble on going through so much blablah manga. So I'm here to introduce you to this 4 josei manga that I've enjoyed very much.
mangaka: Morimoto Kozueko
status: scalating-finished on japan-
genre:comedy,drama,romance,supernatural.
This manga is short, but it's worth it. We encounter a kind, timid, plain(which i find kind of mean lol) but with a gigantic imagination 29 year old woman -Hirano-.She enjoys to disconnect from the real world to imagine crazy scenarios, adventures or actions that are enhanced with what's going on around her. Hirano is not lucky at love, because of her inability to be extrovert and outgoing. But who would say? Her silent hobby is deeply enjoyed by "Koudai something sama", the beautiful recently joined senior at her company. But why can he see and hear her thoughts? how would she deal with that secret?
Hirano is a hilarious character, and Koudai (and also his family of "vampires"lol) are hot, intelligent and kind. This manga is funny, cute and interesting. I still want more chapters σ(≧ε≦ｏ). I watched the live-action movie , because *spoilers* haha and it's awesome.
mangaka: Fujimura Mari.

Reading this manga is like taking a day off lol. I found this manga out of the blue, wasn't expecting anything from it. It's really a sweet story. All about working ladies hehe. Aoishi Hanae is a 33 year old woman who hasn't made her sexual debut yet (let's pray that will not be me in the future lol). Letting chances pass by, she finally-by accident- meets a very promising guy. Well, she sleeps with him without even remember him HAHA.
Seriously this story is so sweet, but at least for me, is generating a lot of second-lead syndrome. WHYYYY. Also, it deals with the problems of relationships with a big age gap. It's interesting to see their points of views and their struggles. It's entertaining and loveable to read. I just realized that there's also a live action, with the SAME actress of Kodaike no Hitobito. Coincidence? I think not.
mangaka: Mitsuba Takanashi.

genre:supernatural, romance,drama,slice of life, school life.
I wasn't expecting to like this manga a lot. But again, I was wrong. Somehow the plot of this manga is hopeful but at the same time sad and gives a lot to think about. Is kindness the best humans can offer? In this story, we have Kisagari Sumi,a 60 year old woman, who has given her everything for her family, leaving ambitions and goals behind. At her senile years, she realized that she has missed so much. And because this is a manga lol, she is able to re-live her young years again with the help of Rei a magical being, who adopts the figure of a cat.
So what I realized by reading this manga, is that saying yes to everything or putting yourself for later, is not usually kindness. That's more like a sacrifice. I can't imagine how many persons've realized this so much later in life . This manga is bittersweet but so enchanting. Sometimes, I felt weird because I knew the protagonist was a 60 year old woman haha. But she got the new appearance, so what the hell!
mangaka: Maki Enjouji
status: complete , 12 chapters.
genre:comedy,romane.drama,slice of life.
I felt that this was the most complete out of all. haha. Maybe because it's complete(duh). But in terms of everything. The plot is interesting, the mangaka knows how to handle expectation and the love story between the two main characters is funny, sweet and hot lol. Our protagonist Hasewaga Tamaki, is also a hardworking woman who gives it all for her family, but not in a overbearing way. Struggling and dealing with a one sided love, in one of her dangerous kind actions, he surprises a man. Then she's suddenly hired to be her bodyguard. But who is this man exactly? why did she confuse him with a gay guy lol? what does he want from her?
The angst and funny parts in this story is prime, and I love angst #sufferment haha. So i really recommend you this one. Cheers.
